- On Sunday, Feb. 8, Guy Fieri will host the free Flavortown Tailgate at Cow Palace from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, with registration opened Jan. 13 at guysflavortowntailgate.com.
- Aiming to showcase the Bay Area's food scene, the tailgate features local restaurants and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives favorites curated by Food Network star Guy Fieri as a family-friendly kickoff to Big Game Sunday.
- SpotOn's Built in the Bay restaurant collection will feature Waterbar, Palm House, Slanted Door, World Wrapps, El Castillito and China Live, and VIP All Inclusive Open Bar & Dining upgrades cost $49.99, $54.99 or $74.99 with fast-track entrance and stage seating.
- The tailgate's charity partners Food Recovery Network and Hellmann's return to recover surplus food after the 2025 event helped provide 8,000 meals, while Carnival Cruise Line and Fieri guarantee access for 2,000 veterans and award cruises to 10 military heroes.
- Coming into year four, organizers bill the Flavortown Tailgate as the largest tailgate party in the world and say there is no other Big Game Weekend event like it.
