- Athletes will navigate a 1,500-meter swim, followed by a 40-kilometer bicycle course and a 10-kilometer run that crosses bridges in the Venice Canals.
- Scheduled for July 15, 2028, the women's individual triathlon will award the first medals of the Los Angeles Games, with the men's race following the next day.
- During the World Triathlon T50 Triathlon World Tour in July 2027, athletes will test the routes, providing an opportunity to assess operations, said Shana Ferguson, LA28's chief of sport and games delivery officer.
