Nearly a year after the Paris Olympics, the organising committee will close its accounts on 17 June. It already announces a profit of €76 million, far greater than expected.
The amount of profit after the event organised last summer in France will be three times higher than the initial forecast.
Some of the good news is related to changes in exchange rates, investment results, ticketing revenues and licensed products.
This money will mostly benefit French sport, with a redistribution of funds, says the chairman of the organizing committee, Tony Estanguet.
On June 17, the date of the last Board of Directors, Tony Estanguet and his teams will report an upward bonus.
