"It seems that with each passing year I am getting stronger and more mature as a cyclist, but getting to this world championship was the most difficult for various reasons - both illnesses and setbacks," Olivija Baleišytė, the strongest Lithuanian track cyclist, is quoted in a press release.
The World Track Cycling Championships will be held in Shanghai on October 14–18, where Lithuania will be represented by the only O. Baleišytė - the Panevėžys cyclist has won the right to participate in all endurance events.
