On April 4th, the Okinawa Prefectural Hospital Bureau announced that it had taken disciplinary action against two staff members for abusing and stealing from patients. According to the bureau, on April 24th, the male nursing assistant (fiscal year appointed employee) grabbed the patient's hair and arm and tried to push him back to the bed as the patient repeatedly moved between his bed and a portable toilet.
