[Tokyo] Governor Denny Tamaki met with Okinawa Minister Hitoshi Kikkawada at the Cabinet Office on the 9th and requested that the Cabinet Office secure a total of over 300 billion yen in its budget request for Okinawa-related matters for fiscal year 2027, which will be allocated collectively. Minister Kikkawada responded, "We will clearly state the budget request in the basic policy guidelines and work as a ministry to secure the budget."
