Barrie Colts scored three consecutive goals, including a winner 20 seconds into overtime, to complete their comeback against Sarnia Sting, who lost their fourth straight game.

  • Sarnia built a two-goal cushion with second-period strikes from Beckham Edwards and Cameron Aucoin but couldn’t get another past Arvin Jaswal or find a third goal.
  • Sting goalie Charlie Larocque turned aside 33 shots in his first start since the trade, while the Colts tied the game midway through the third on Alex Assadourian’s goal and Jordan Bax was stopped on a penalty shot.
  • The result moved Sarnia to a 4-7-3-0 record, leaving them tied with Erie Otters for last in the Western Conference after their fourth straight loss.
  • In recent weeks, Sarnia Sting have lost eight of their last 10 games, and Letang said, `Now it's just finding that small edge that puts you over for the win tonight.
