Motocross star Jeremy Seewer and Ducati break up with immediate effect. After disappointing performances, the project failed. The 13-time GP winner from Bülach ZH will not start in the World Cup any more this weekend.
After difficulties in the 2026 season, Ducati announced the early separation from her factory driver Jeremy Seewer. In the valley basin, the Ducati factory team will compete without the Swiss.
Jeremy Seewer, a five-time world motocross runner-up (twice in MX2 and three times in MXGP), is leaving the Ducati factory team after the sixth race of this year's MXGP championship. After increasingly poor results, the contract was terminated by mutual consent. No replacement will be sought for him. Where, if at all, the Swiss will continue his career is currently unknown.
