A Manhattan man was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after police said he violated the state’s offender registration act. Riley County Police arrested 34-year-old John Deem around 3:13 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road. The arrest stems from a report filed in August.
