Odell Beckham Jr. reunites with familiar faces, joins 4-0 Vikings
Beckham joins a 4-0 Minnesota team seeking help for a passing game that ranks last in the NFL, officials said.
- On Wednesday, the Minnesota Vikings signed veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to their practice squad, reuniting the receiver with the organization ahead of Week 5.
- Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell previously served as Beckham's offensive coordinator during the Los Angeles Rams' 2021 Super Bowl championship run, creating a familiar connection.
- Beckham credited O'Connell for the move, stating, "It seemed as if he wanted me to be here," while reuniting with fellow LSU alumnus and Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson.
- Despite a 4-0 start, the Vikings rank last in the NFL in passing yards and sought offensive depth following injuries to star receivers Jefferson and Jordan Addison.
- Beckham could debut as soon as Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, with O'Connell believing the veteran can quickly adapt to Minnesota's offensive scheme.
