OCTA: Self-rated poverty, hunger rise in Q2 2026
The number of Filipino families who consider themselves poor and those who experienced hunger increased in the second quarter of 2026, according to the latest Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey of OCTA Research.
More than one million Filipino families have been added to the list of those who consider themselves poor. This was revealed in the latest Tugon ng Masa survey by OCTA Research where the self-rated poverty in the country increased to 39% from 35% in March 2026.
