O’Connell’s hat-trick powers Ramapo into Bergen County quarterfinals - Boys soccer

Caden O’Connell pumped in a hat-trick, and that effort led the way for second-seeded Ramapo in a 4-1 victory over No. 15 seed Old Tappan in Bergen County Tournament first round action in Franklin Lakes. Now 10-1 on the season, the Raiders will take on Mahwah in Saturday’s quarterfinals. Jason Preziosi had the other goal for the winners, while James Fitzmaurice chipped in with two assists.
