Feds Say Sex Predator Used Discord To Lure Kids |Patch PM

A 17-year-old Marion County teen, Christian Scribben, was arrested on April 16, 2025, for sexually exploiting children via Roblox and Discord in Florida.
Authorities began investigating after a February 28 tip from NCMEC revealed Scribben directed children to abuse younger siblings and create sexual abuse material online.
Scribben admitted to daily searching for children on Roblox for a year, misrepresenting his age to appear acceptable, and instructing 4-5 children daily to engage in abuse.
The victim, a 13-year-old Texas girl sexually assaulted after grooming on Roblox and Discord, is part of a federal lawsuit accusing both platforms of failing to protect children.
The case has prompted a subpoena to Roblox to examine child marketing and safety policies, amid concerns there may be additional victims due to the crimes' alarming nature.
