Observances planned in Kempner, Lampasas
A Memorial Day ceremony will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Sylvia Tucker Memorial Park in Kempner. Another ceremony is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Lampasas County Courthouse. The American Legion Briggs Wright Post 277 also issued a flag etiquette reminder: On Memorial Day, the U.S. flag should be displayed at half-staff until noon, then raised to the top of the staff.
