RIPTA to hold 12 public hearings on cuts in the face of $17.6 million deficit

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Next week, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority will begin a series of public hearings regarding a budget shortfall. RIPTA still faces a $17.6 million deficit.
