Organization of American States was invited by the TSE to accompany elections. Entity also stated that the vote took place peacefully and without serious incidents.
The Organization of American States (OAS) quoted today having observed "climate of tension" in the elections in Brazil and "disinformation intended to generate mistrust about the integrity of the electronic voting system".
The OAS electoral observation mission (Organization of American States) stated that the Brazilian election was marked by international political activism and concerns about actions by foreign actors that could have affected the campaign, while pointing to legal uncertainty caused by decisions of the STF (Supremo Federal Court) and the TSE (High Electoral Court).
