Oakwood University offering free string music lessons to youths

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The String Project is one of those efforts that simply nourishes your soul. The effort teaches violins, violas and cellos to young people at no cost. The only expense to the student is the rental or purchase of an instrument. Oakwood University Assistant Professor of Music Sarah Ruff runs the program.
