MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Two suspects posing as bank representatives allegedly scammed a 78-year-old Manhattan woman out of $24,000, police said Wednesday. On June 11, the woman received a call at around 11 a.m. from a fake bank employee telling her that her account had been hacked, and she transferred $11,000 to rectify the issue, according to the NYPD.
