N.Y. Gov. Hochul: Trump tax bill will slash over 1,200 healthcare jobs on Staten Island, part of Brooklyn

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- While thousands of Staten Islanders could lose access to health care as federal lawmakers continue to weigh proposed Medicaid cuts, hundreds of health care workers on Staten Island could also lose their jobs if the GOP budget reconciliation bill passes the Senate, said Gov. Kathy Hochul.
