No injuries after tornado rips off warehouse roof in Jackson, Tenn.

The City of Memphis may have dodged the worst of Tuesday night’s severe weather, but some of its neighbors weren’t so lucky. A tornado briefly touched down just outside Jackson, Tennessee, and ripped the roof off a warehouse.

NWS Confirms EF-0 tornado in Jackson, TN on Tuesday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The National Weather Service confirms a brief EF-0 tornado hit southwest Jackson, Tennessee on Tuesday. It says the twister touched down in a wooded area just south of James Lawrence Road, west of Smith Lane, damaging a warehouse. Winds were clocked at 75 mph with a path of just over a mile.
