Nvidia Launches AI-First DGX Personal Computing Systems
- On May 18, 2025, Nvidia announced at Computex 2025 in Taiwan that leading Taiwanese manufacturers will build DGX Spark and DGX Station AI systems.
- This announcement follows growing partnerships with Acer, GIGABYTE, MSI, and others to expand availability of these personal AI supercomputers for developers and researchers.
- The DGX Spark utilizes the Nvidia Grace Blackwell GB10 Superchip to provide AI performance reaching 1 petaflop alongside 128GB of unified memory, whereas the DGX Station, powered by the Grace Blackwell GB300 Ultra Desktop Superchip, delivers up to 20 petaflops and includes 784GB of unified system memory.
- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang highlighted that AI has transformed all aspects of the computing stack—from hardware to software—underscoring the importance of these systems in supporting future intelligent workloads.
- These systems empower a global ecosystem to prototype, fine-tune, and run AI models locally without compromising data privacy or scalability, signaling a new era of desktop AI computing.
