Nvidia and Wallenberg businesses starting AI venture in Sweden

Nvidia Corp. and a cluster of businesses backed by Sweden’s influential Wallenberg family are starting a venture to build out artificial intelligence infrastructure in the Nordic nation. “Jensen, I love you!” fans shouted earlier this week when the Nvidia boss was in Taiwan. Now Jensen Huang is in Norrköping and, together with Marcus Wallenberg, is presenting plans to build an AI supercomputer and an AI lab.

Sweden's richest family, which indirectly controls one-third of the country's GDP, will build an "artificial intelligence factory" there, Wallenberg Investments said on Saturday. The supercomputers will be supplied by the American company Nvidia.

Nvidia enters into a partnership with the Swedish Wallenberg research network to promote the development of AI.
