Nuss named DeRidder City Council's newest clerk

After going into executive session Monday night, the DeRidder City Council voted Ashley Nuss to be its next clerk. Originally from Nebraska, Nuss has called DeRidder home for more than 15 years and said she is excited to start her new position. Nuss has two children, one of whom is a DeRidder High School graduate. She has an extensive background in communications as a notary, realtor and working for Leavoy Law in DeRidder.
