Numerous Cases of Tax Fraud in Construction Uncovered

In June, the Austrian Financial Police identified 128 cases of tax and social security fraud, some of them serious, as part of an Austria-wide targeted operation on construction sites. A total of more than 390 companies were inspected at 139 locations, according to the Austrian Federal Office for Combating Fraud (ABB). 235 financial police officers inspected 1,235 employees on the construction sites.
