Nscale and Figure Sign Strategic Partnership to Power the Next Generation of Physical AI
- On Thursday, AI cloud firm Nscale signed a multi-year deal to provide $3.5 billion in compute resources for humanoid robotics company Figure's AI models and robots.
- The company, which competes with CoreWeave and Nebius, plans to scale the computing investment to more than $6 billion to strengthen its position in the AI cloud sector.
- Up to 100,000 Nvidia GPUs will support development of the next generation of Figure's Helix models, powering advanced AI capabilities for humanoid robotics.
- Deployment of Initial graphics processing units is targeted to begin in the second half of 2027 in Barstow, Texas, according to Nscale.
- Through the agreement, Nscale becomes a Figure shareholder and preferred compute provider; both companies plan to explore scaling Nscale's supply chain using humanoids.
