- In her hospital statement, Carolina Wilga said she left her car in a state of confusion after hitting her head in the crash, leading to disorientation.
- Drinking from puddles and sheltering in caves, Carolina Wilga said; she arrived exhausted, dehydrated, and with an injured foot.
- In recovery, Carolina Wilga lost 12kg, revealed she was airlifted to Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, where she is recovering.

On Friday, 26-year-old German tourist Carolina Wilga was found in the state of Western Australia after spending 12 days in the inhospitable bush.
