After investing billions in quantum research, the Novo Nordisk Foundation is now taking the next step in developing the critical technology. Next year, the foundation will open the doors to a factory in Copenhagen that will produce advanced quantum chips that can create unprecedented computing power.
As part of a major investment in quantum technology, for which the Novo Nordisk Foundation is spending DKK 2.9 billion, a large development laboratory and factory are now to be built in Copenhagen. The first phase will cost DKK 400 million, but the full cost of the entire plant will be billions.
