(KRON) -- Novato residents helped to detain a woman who allegedly attacked a 9-year-old boy to steal his bicycle on Wednesday, according to the Novato Police Department. Novato police arrested a woman who allegedly struck a child and tried to steal his bicycle. The crime happened at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex on Ignacio Boulevard, according to the Novato Police Department. Witnesses intervened, stopped the attack and called police.
