Notting Hill Carnival will go ahead following a cash injection of almost £1 million in extra funding.
This year's event will be held over the August bank holiday weekend. A review had identified "critical public safety concerns" around crowd safety that needed additional funding. City Hall, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and City of Westminster have now provided the cash.
