Separately, the Lyons City Council approved a $6,600 budget engagement with Ortmeier CPA, PC during their June 29, 2026 meeting. Council members reviewed proposed fiscal year 2025/2026 line items.
Preparations for the FY2026-27 budget will continue at a July 28 workshop, with time to be determined. County officials assigned budget authority to ensure ongoing fiscal management.
