Although you can snoop long before, in Chile we started with citizen journalism about twenty years ago. Between home cameras, civil responsibility and hunger for notoriety, citizens thought we could participate in the construction of the news. It was the first zancadilla to the gatekeepers, where, the San Pedros of public opinion who held the key to the media, felt the threat of losing that monopoly.
