Summary by 96.1 Renfrew Today
The Office of the Fire Marshal is concerned about recent reports of fires allegedly sparked by wayward cigarette butts. It is issuing a reminder for smokers to ensure you have properly extinguished the butt. Do so in a deep ashtray. Never throw butts off your balcony, into bushes, or down the garbage chute.
