The regulator concluded that more than 821,000 NOS customers were not informed as required by law. The National Communications Authority (Anacom) imposed a fine of €350,000 on NOS for unilaterally altering the contracts of 821,641 subscribers to introduce mandatory advertising in automatic television recordings, without complying with the information obligations stipulated by law.
