Drones are a fairly common tool today, prices and quality vary greatly for these remote controlled flying digital cameras; the result however is the fact that taking an aerial photograph is a relatively easy accomplishment today. Going back a few decades however a photo taken from a bird’s perspective was a rarity, involving an actual aircraft and a specialized camera.
