The Norwegian government announced on Monday that it is kicking two Russian fishing companies out of the country, The Barent Observer reports. The announcement follows an EU decision in May. “Recently, we have seen increasingly aggressive Russian hybrid campaigns against allied nations,” Foreign Minister Barth Eide said in a press release on Monday.

The Government has decided that Norway will list the two Russian fishing companies Norebo JSC and Murman Seafood. With this decision, Norway will support the sanctions adopted by the EU on 20 May, in the same way as we have previously supported the EU's other sanctions against Russia. The listings build on Norwegian security policy interests.
