It is not clear what proportion of the transferred aircraft are operationally capable. Most likely, some of the transferred fourteen are aircraft that are no longer airworthy, but could serve as training aids, spare parts reservoirs or even false targets for the enemy. Such old F-16s (versions A and B) have also been recently transferred for parts by the United States.
