Despite being told it was impossible, five European countries are now working together to easily exchange aircraft, personnel, and other F-35 assets.
New agreement allows a Belgian pilot to fly a Norwegian F-35 with Dutch weapons prepared by Danish technicians according to a Finnish intelligence plan. On September 17, a Finnish pilot flew the F-35 in Europe for the first time during the weapons instructor course at Ørland Air Station.
Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark have entered into a cooperation agreement with Norway to be able to fly and operate each other's F-35 fighter jets.
BODØ (TV 2): None of the countries have enough fighter jets on their own. Now Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium are implementing a completely new defense model.
