Northland Nature: The arrival of sparrows

Birders reported flocks of juncos, song sparrows and fox sparrows, while more than 2,000 bald eagles were counted during March, observers said.

The dawn has brightened my morning walk and, by the time I am out here, plenty of other residents have already been active. Quickly, I see and hear some migrants.
