Northern Ontario First Nation prepares for inquest into deadly blastomycosis outbreak

Four years ago, people in Constance Lake First Nation were showing symptoms of an illness that mimicked pneumonia, but it wasn’t that lung condition. Five people eventually died over several weeks starting in late 2021, during an outbreak of what was determined to be blastomycosis.
