In a statement issued by the North Korean press agency KCNA and quoted by Reuters, the Phenian accused NATO leaders of presenting the exercise of North Korea's legitimate sovereign rights as a threat. Furthermore, the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims that the alliance has demonstrated its stronger commitment to a confrontation between blocs by increasing arms costs, but also closer military cooperation with Asia-Pacific allies.
