North Cowichan moves forward with new child care facility
- A new 158-space child care facility is being built by North Cowichan at Donnay Drive and Kingsview Road, near Maple Bay Elementary.
- North Cowichan received an $18,047,000 grant to support the construction through the Canada-British Columbia Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement.
- The new facility will be operated by Parkside Academy Child-Care Society and will replace its former location on Sprott Road.
- An open house about the project will be held on April 8 at Maple Bay Elementary School for public engagement.
