- Following House and Senate approval, the bill moves to Democratic Gov. Josh Stein, who has 10 days to sign, veto, or allow it to become law without his signature.
- The budget establishes a new personal income tax schedule, dropping the rate to 3.49% for 2027 through 2029, then declining further to 2.99% by 2033 and 2034.
