Passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Saturday, July 12, 2025. She was 90. Born on March 23, 1935 in Guelph, Ontario, to the late Norman and Edith 'Pearl' (nee Alexander) Horton. "Joan" became a registered nurse, and enjoyed a rewarding career working in hospitals and nursing homes. Joan met Lloyd Gerhardt, and they were married in 1958.
