Nordic Ski: Hastings helps St. Olaf to national title

LAKE PLACID, New York — Former Brainerd Warrior and St. Olaf College Nordic skier Lance Hastings helped lead the Oles to a USCSA Relay National Championship March 13 at the Olympic Complex. Hastings skied in a nine-lap relay around a 1,500-meter course with teammates Paavo Rova and Daniel Gladkov. Each skier completed three laps. Hastings was the second leg in the relay and gave the Oles a six-second advantage before the final hill. ]]>
