The leaders of the eight Nordic and Baltic states have published a statement in which they stressed the urgent need to accelerate the supply of weapons to Ukraine amid Russia's increasing use of violence and delaying the peace process, and also called for increased sanctions on the aggressor and related countries.
At a critical meeting in Copenhagen, the NB8 countries decided to increase military support to Ukraine. The statement stated, "Expediting arms and ammunition deliveries is an urgent need."
The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, stated that the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, was planning to use winter as a weapon against Ukraine.
