Nordine B. and Nawel T. appeared this Thursday before the Lille Correctional Court for the unauthorized detention of "Louise", escaped from their home in 2019. Suspects of trafficking hovered throughout the hearing.
After a postponement of the hearing last January, the trial of the two main suspects in the case of the black panther of Armentières opened in Lille on 4 September 2025. The couple was finally sentenced to 10 000 euros fine and suspended. The animal protection associations that had formed civil parties welcome the verdict.
