The tragic incident occurred in a maternity hospital in the French city of Lille. A six-year-old boy caused the death of a five-day-old premature baby. According to the French newspaper La Voix du Nord, he mistook it for a doll and dropped the newborn directly on its head. The police are investigating the case and the hospital itself has also launched an internal investigation.
