Nonresidential Construction Spending Slips for Sixth Time in Seven Months

UNITED STATES, AUG 04 – Data center construction spending rose 29% year-over-year to $3.5 billion in June, offsetting declines in private nonresidential projects amid tariff and labor uncertainties.

AGC officials pointed to ongoing tariff and labor uncertainty as the reason many construction owners may be pulling back on planned projects.
