The Board of Directors of the Athens Bar Association decided to take legal action against private law schools, as it found that serious issues are raised regarding the legality of licensing, especially in relation to the institutional framework governing the certification process of study programs, the establishment of the competent evaluation committees and the general regulatory framework of the operation of the Athens Law School. The Athens Bar Association has decided to take legal action against the licensing of non-state law schools. After informing Professor P. Lazaratu and related annulment decisions of the Board of Directors, the ICRC identified serious legality issues in the certification procedures of the ETAAE, calling on the State to comply immediately to end the uncertainty.
The new appeal by the DSA comes a few days after the intervention of the Coordinating Committee of the Plenary of the Presidents of the Bar Associations of Greece.
