Next year, the European Swimming Championship in Basel is scheduled to take place. But the organizers have a problem. They lack sponsorship money. If they can't find it, it won't happen with the home appearance of Noè Ponti and Co.
In the budget of the European Short Race Championships 2027, a gap of around two million Swiss francs opens up. If no commitments are made by the end of September, the association will return the rights of the event.
